Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation and mindfulness practices can help you develop a greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations which can help reduce feelings of stress and anxiety and improve overall wellbeing.

These practices reduce stress in several ways by:

Reducing physiological arousal and activity in the nervous system which is responsible for the fight/flight response.

Improving emotional regulation and developing greater awareness of emotions and how they affect you.

Developing cognitive flexibility, effectively adapting to changing situations and different modes of thinking.

Promoting relaxation.

Connecting to ones-self and creating a greater feeling of well-being.

Why me?

Lucy with closed eyes and both hands placed gently on her heart, expressing compassion, connection, and presence

We can’t avoid stress in life, but we can learn to deal with it effectively and lead a more engaged life, incorporating a better work-life balance.

I  teach ordinary people that anyone can meditate, and that a few minutes a day can change lives in a simple and effective way, with lots of scientific research to support it.

My life experience makes me a compassionate, open, and engaging teacher that can teach both science and practice.

What people are saying
